Hike at Mt. Diablo

This was quite a challenging hike, mostly because we got lost due to tricky and confusing trail. Nevertheless, it was quite a good workout and boy what an adventure it was! Mostly under open-space, we unknowingly walked from Diablo Foothills Regional Park to Diablo State Park. Thanks to the old couples who offered us a ride to our parking lot, we were able to get back home before the sun sets.

Hike at Briones Regional Park

It took roughly around 1 hour and 11 minutes to reach this place with lots of greens and mostly open hike. In fact, it was such a beautiful sunny day that by the time I got home, I realized that my arms were turning red and felt warm due to constant sun exposure.

While this hike wasn't as beautiful as previous few, the people and my new Canon PowerShot S90 made this hike so much more enjoyable. Included a stitched picture of my view from lunch spot.

Hike at Del Valle Regional Park

I was actually still deciding whether or not I should join this hike at the beautiful Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore, CA. I slept at around 3:30am and woke up at 9:45am. We began the hike at 12 noon and finished at 5:15pm. It was a small group of probably about 20 people.

My desire to go for this hike was not solely based on looking to enjoy the view, see the world, get some exercise and socialize, but also taking pictures. Lately I've been noticing myself taking more pictures of the outside world with my six-year-old Canon Powershot S320 (3.2 Megapixel) camera. I'm currently in experimentation mode, and if I can keep up with these, I may one day get a better camera. For now, I'd like to show you some of the pictures I took.

Hike at Mt. Tam [Bon Tempe Lake]

Started at 12 noon, and ended at around 5:30pm, this over 7-mile hike near three beautiful lakes [Lagunitas, Bon Tempe and Alphine] is probably one of the most satisfying ones I've been in recent memories. It's got trees, water, mud, breathtaking view, great weather, awesome folks... What more could I possibly want? After hike, we went to the nearest ice-cream store (Fairfax Scoop) and grab ourselves two scoops of ice-cream each. Plus, I just get really excited knowing that I took lots of pictures with the intention of posting them up on the blog.

Hike at Marin Headlands [Rodeo Beach]

Took about 1.5 hours from South San Jose. Reached there just in time to go for this 7.8 mile hike. Met a guy there who talked about religion all throughout the hike. All in all, a beautiful, breath-taking place. It's always a nice feeling to reach and see the beach at the end of the hike.

hike at joseph d grant county park

this hike is better than the last week. im like the only person hiking this 7.5 miles loop. the view is beautiful.

hike at sierra azul open space preserve

i woke up this morning feeling the energy to go for a hike. so i looked for a place and came across woods trail at sierra azul open space preserve which isn't located too far away from where i live.

for a while there, i thought i was the only one hiking. then came the horses and bicycles on my way down. it's not the most exciting and interesting hike, but good enough for a breath of fresh air and exercise.
